Present Codes can primarily be found in Waddle Dee Town or via Nintendo’s social media feeds. In this guide to Kirby and the Forgotten Land, we’ll tell you how to redeem them and where to find them in a bit more depth. We’ve also included a list of Present Codes that have already been released, as well as their rewards.
How to Redeem Present Codes in Kirby and the Forgotten Land
You won’t be able to redeem any Present Codes until you unlock the Waddle Dee-liveries shop in Waddle Dee Town, after rescuing 50 Waddle Dees. You’ll probably be somewhere in the second world when you get to this point.
As the Waddle Dee running the delivery service will tell you, the shop is where to redeem your Present Codes. The helpful little guy will even point you to the first Present Code, which is right behind where you are standing. You can redeem it for 100 Star Coins.
It is worth noting that each Present Code is in all capital letters and case sensitive. If you try to enter them in lowercase, they will be rejected. So make sure your caps lock is on when entering Present Codes in Kirby and the Forgotten Land.
Where to Find Present Codes in Kirby and the Forgotten Land
A fair share of the Present Codes in Kirby and the Forgotten Land can be found using resources outside of the game itself. Through pre-ordering at GameStop, playing the demo, and following Nintendo of America’s social media feed, Kirby fans have been able to stock up on a lot of bonus materials already.
Anyone can enter these codes, so even if you didn’t play the demo or pre-order the game, you can scroll to the bottom of this guide for a comprehensive list of the currently available Present Codes and their rewards.
The remaining Present Codes can be found in Waddle Dee Town. In addition to the first password, three others can be found by exploring the hub.
One can be found inside the movie theater near the back corner of the room. Another is in the flowers on top of the cafe. Yet another code can be found on top of the tent outside the colosseum where you sign up.
As you explore the hub, keep an eye on your fairy companion Elfilin. When exclamation points pop up around their head and a dialogue bubble appears, you know you have just discovered a Present Code.
Finally, two codes become available by completing the game. However, like the rest of the Present Codes, these can be redeemed at any time throughout your playthrough if you know the code.

If you want to skip all the tedious steps for these rewards, we’ve compiled a list of every single code, their rewards, and how to obtain each one. As Nintendo unveils more codes on Twitter, we will continue to keep updating this guide.

Two Present Codes, KIRBYNEWSDESK and GAMENEWS are said to have been tweeted at some point, but we were not able to confirm (though it does appear they work). Moreover, two others, ADVENTUREGUIDE and KIRBYADVENTURECALI, appear to also work, but we haven’t pinned down where they originated. Regardless, that’s what you need to know about Present Codes in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. With this list, you can reap the rewards if you’d rather not hunt them down yourself.
